Royal Enfield has launched the all terrain bike Himalayan for the adventure seekers. Unlike the regular Enfields which are designed to be comfortable cruisers, this bike comes with a host of features for off-roading capabilities. Here are five of them:

Other notable inclusions are a long stroke 411cc engine with good low-end torque that produces 25ps of power. The bike weighs a hefty 182kgs and comes with disc brakes both in the front and rear offering good stopping power. It has a 60 watt headlamp (car like) and LED tail lamp. The 15 litre fuel tank gives the bike a range of 400 to 500 kms for normal rides. The Himalayan is available in two colors "Snow" and "Granite". It is prices at 1.55 lac, ex-showroom (Mumbai) and is on display at the Royal Enfield showrooms.
